“A tarnished silver locket, warm to the touch despite the cold air of the Tankard. Inside, a miniature portrait of a woman with kind eyes — Del’s wife, taken by the plague three winters past. The locket hums faintly when the Mark pulses.”

Deeper Lore: The locket was a gift from the Green Woman herself, given to Del as a wedding blessing. When the Seal began to crack, the locket became an anchor — the last piece of Del’s humanity resisting the Dreaming’s possession. If the holder bears the Mark, the locket grows colder with each advancing stage.
